The Building Trades Class under the direction of instructor Matthew Hicks through the Whiteside Area Career Center in Sterling volunteered their time and labor to install new vinyl siding on the building occupied by the SVdP Society of Sterling. SVdP operates a food pantry and financial aid assistance to community families in need of these services at this building on Sixth Street. SVdP extends a huge thank you to Fr. Keenan, St. Mary’s Parish, and the WACC, Mr. Hicks, and the Building Trades Class in working together to provide new siding on the building.
