LOESCHER HEATING & AIR-CONDITIONING DONATION

Representatives from Loescher Heating & Air-conditioning of Sterling delivered 1,400 items to SVdP food pantry and SVdP volunteers were there to greet them. The 1,400 items donated, corresponded to 1,400 service calls Loescher received in February. The photos above depict the delivery of the 1,400 items made to the SVdP food pantry on April 14th. Loescher Heating & Air-conditioning has supported various organizations in the community in the past and this year, SVdP Food Pantry was selected as the recipient for their donation. FAMILIES ASSISTED IN MARCH

SVdP assisted 435 families in March with food and financial aid. SVdP distributed food to 416 families, making up of 907 adults and 352 children, total of 1259. Financial aid assisted 22 families in the areas of utilities, prescriptions and gas for doctor appointments. We are grateful for Whiteside County community for their generosity.

STERLING OPTIMIST CLUB DONATION

Representatives from Sterling Optimist Club, Sharon Hammer and Tricia Vorhees presented a generous donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Shirley Zapf. The Optimist Club has supported St. Vincent de Paul in the past and we are grateful for their continued support and generosity.

FEBRUARY FAMILIES SVdP ASSISTED

SVdP assisted 266 families in February. In financial aid, 18 families were assisted in the area of utilities, prescriptions, and gas for doctor appointments. Distribution of food was given to 244 families, that consisted of 533 adults and 206 children, total of 739. We are so appreciative of Whiteside County generosity.

SVdP JANUARY FAMILY ASSISTANCE

SVdP assisted in January 2023, 311 families in distribution of food and financial aid. We had 278 families that we assisted with food, making up of 622 adults and 246 children, totaling 868. In financial aid SVdP assisted 30 families in the area of utilities, prescriptions and gas for doctor appointments. Thank you Whiteside County for all you do to support SVdP.

IN DECEMBER FAMILIES ASSISTED

In December SVdP assisted 274 families in food and financial aid. Food was distributed to 253 families, making up 581 adults and 218 children, totaling 799. Assistance was given in financial aid to 19 families. Helping with utilities, prescriptions, and gas for doctor appointments. Thank you Whiteside County for helping SVdP in 2022, to be able to assist families.
