The Whiteside County Health Department will be hosting Pop-Up Vaccination Clinics on the following dates/locations:

8/27 Fulton – Fulton High School Parking Lot
10:00am to 12:00pm
SVdP Annual 50/50 Raffle Ticket drawing was held July 13, 2021 with SVdP President Fred Marruffo and Mayor Skip Lee drawing out the winning ticket.
Ron Billiet is the winner of the SVdP 50/50 Raffle. Presenting Ron with the check is Sally Sandoval and Charlene O’Connor. Ron received $3235.00. He donated $1500.00 back to SVdP pantry. Congratulations and thank you Ron.
Thank you to the businesses that participated in selling tickets, everyone who purchased a raffle ticket, and those who donated money to SVdP.
For the month of June, SVdP assisted 183 families with food. It consisted of 433 adults and 167 children. In Financial Aid 44 families were helped. This could be in the area of assisting in rent, motel, utilities, gas and prescriptions. SVdP is grateful to the Whiteside County communities for their generous support.
Pantry is selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each. Drawing to be held July 13th at the pantry. We will be selling tickets at the businesses below:
June 19th – Farmer’s Market 8:00 – 12:00, June 26th – Wal Mart 9:00 – 3:00, July 3rd – Farmer’s Market 8:00 – 12:00, July 10th – County Market 9:00 – 3:00, Also at the SVdP pantry during their working hours.

For the month of May, SVdP assisted 143 families with food. It consists of 247 adults and 75 children for a total of 322. We helped 27 families with financial aid. This could be in areas of rent, utilities, gas, medications, and motels.

Sterling Public Schools has partnered with SHIELD Illinois to provide free saliva-based COVID 19 tests to the community!

The Illinois Rental Payment Program is now open for landlords only.
ILRPP is an emergency rental assistance program designed to support households in Illinois that are unable to pay rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The application site is now open for applications. To apply, please visit the application site at https://ilrpp.ihda.org.

SVdP assisted 127 families with food. A total of 412 consisting of 301 adults and 111 children. Financial aid was given to 41 families in the area of rent, utilities, gas, motel and prescriptions. SVdP would like to thank Whiteside communities for their support and generosity.
In January SVdP assisted 125 families with food. There were 231 adults and 116 children, a total of 347. Financial aid was given to 15 families in the areas of utilities, gas, motel and prescriptions. Thank You to Sterling/Rock Falls community for their generosity.
