St. Vincent de Paul Society wishes everyone a blessed Christmas and a safe healthy New Year.
The pantry WILL BE OPEN on Christmas Eve – Thursday December 24 and New Year’s Eve -December 31.
Closed on Christmas Day – December 25 and New Year’s Day – January 1, 2021.
Regular hours will resume on Monday January 4, 2021.
During this Advent season it is time for us to share our blessings with those less fortunate. Through your generosity, SVdP was able to distribute food to 203 families. Which fed 675 individuals. Assisted 38 families in financial aid in rent, prescriptions and utility bills. Thank you so much.
Starting on Tuesday December 15th, SVdP is adding a second food distribution time on Tuesday’s only from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

Families who need financial aid for ComEd bills may be eligible for help directly from ComEd.
Interested ComEd customers should contact ComEd’s customer care team as soon as possible at 800-334-7661, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to take advantage of new and existing assistance options. More information is also available at ComEd.com/CARE.
For the month of October 2020, St. Vincent de Paul has served 229 families at the food pantry and has provided financial assistance for 44 families.
You can now get financial assistance on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00-2:30 p.m.
Call the pantry at 815-625-0311 during these hours to request assistance.
Food distribution is on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-2:30 p.m.
